How lucky you found us! How did you manage?
A hidden gem created and maintained by people mostly in outsidership, on their journey to learn themselves and establish strong relation to the world and others, through various culture activities. Project Pocket is an independent collective of creatives, a sandbox for creative culture experiments in urban environment. It can be a coworking place for total concentrationm a workshop area or a theater stage.
It is a non-profit association where members together care to cover bills, keep the place clean, organise and commnunicate activities. The place is 100% volunteer driven and there are no employees.
Open Hours
Since there is no receptionist, PP is only open when there is something going on. Feel free to contact us if you yourself are looking for a place to conduct some cultural happening, and we will arrange so you can see it for yourself and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Our motto is Dream Discuss Prototype, reflecting our values:
- Universal unifying power of human creativity and intelligence! We actively work with and promote democracy, human rights and social justice using culture as a most constructive tool of social dialogue.
- Group work and collective thinking! Great things happen when good people get together. Sometimes we need to hear that one more voice, to start changing our life.
- Imagine, try, evaluate! Prototyping is our religion, that far we come to being any partisan. We love experiements and support any person who is willing to share our values and contribute to Project Pocket's survival and development by own time and effort.
During summer we often are less active in Project Pocket, we mostly do activities outdoors, going team building in the wild and work with youngsters in the remote training facilities. Please get in touch via phone or mail if you want to organize or rent the location, or plan something new for the season!
Grown up people play too little. Game gives the strongest learning, social interactions are the core of establishing a good life, and Project Pocket is a place where these meet. Promoting social entrepreneurship, sustainable local development and recognition of international competences, we aim to find the fastest way of social integration and bring forward joy of creation (well, pain of hard work and dealing with challenges as well) when working on social, cultural and educational projects.
Project Pocket operates as a membership organisation under an umbrella of a non-profit NGO for women and youth ProQvi Igloo. In this network of smaller NGOs, PP acts as urban environment location for various non-partisan culture and educational experiments. It provides possibilities for co-working, educational activities and workshops, open public culture events and entertainment.
