This is a course designed to support new entrepreneurs. It features specific challenges and opportunities for women considering starting their own business in urban or rural environments. The course was developed in collaboration between specialists of 7 European countries, using their combined competence to provide a condensed knowledge useful for a start-up. The target group of the course are women 25+. The language of the course is English and part of the learning process is online/self-studies.
Since 2015, organisation for women and youth Proqvi has been involved in international projects aiming to research and develop premises for women to start their own businesses, learn to face both difficulties and opportunities. The result of the most recent effort done in collaboration with 6 other partners within project "Women at Work", is a course covering the most urgent topics like partnerships, psychology, markets, finance, promotion, expansion etc. Within 6 weeks we will together move in our discussions from the ideas and data screen, to hands-on prototyping and peer evaluation. The focus of the course will be on local communities, traditional crafts and social entrepreneurship.
